Objective

  1. To provide an interdisciplinary forum for academicians, policymakers, practitioners, and students to exchange scholarly insights and practical experiences on the integration of cultural values and local wisdom in promoting environmental sustainability.
  2. To explore and critically assess policy frameworks that incorporate cultural knowledge and community-based approaches in addressing contemporary environmental challenges at local, national, and global levels.
  3. To advance methodological innovation in research and practice related to culture, environment, and sustainability, including participatory, indigenous, and community-based approaches.
  4. To highlight best practices and case studies demonstrating how local wisdom and indigenous knowledge contribute to sustainable environmental management and resilient communities.
  5. To strengthen collaboration among stakeholders—including academic institutions, government agencies, civil society, and local communities—in designing culturally grounded and environmentally sustainable development strategies.
  6. To contribute strategic recommendations that translate cultural insights into practical solutions for environmental management and community resilience at local, national, and global levels.
  7. To support the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by aligning research outcomes with global sustainability priorities and policy directions

Only selected papers will be published in IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science

Conference Fee and APC:
IDR 3,200,000
